It's just clouds... they're actually from another picture. It was a really grey rainy day so the sky in the original picture needed a little help.

I was there about a month ago... it's a lot of fun, it was my second time going to the Outer Banks but the first time I'd seen the ponies. There are tours that take you around looking for them in a 4x4, we saw tons of stallions fighting and cute babies.

Aww, sounds like something I'd want to do eventually. I've seen the ponies on Ocracoke Island, but that's a good deal further south. And they were just in a hundred-something acre pasture so it wasn't the "real deal", you know?

Do you have any more pictures worth sharing? I'd love to see them!

We went to Ocracoke too... yeah, it's definitely not the same. It was really disappointing, all the ponies were in a small corral and I couldn't even get pictures of them without a fence blocking the view.

Of course, I also had issues with a fence blocking some shots in Corolla too, but that was because there were two stallions fighting over a mare in someone's yard. Can you imagine stepping out your front door and seeing that?

I got several other good shots from Corolla tho, I'll be uploading more tonight!

Mhmm, it made me sad because I was expecting something different. They all seemed fat and happy though, so...

WOW, that would be incredible! Oh my gosh, I'd just love that. So I guess they just have free range of everything then?

Yaaay, I can't wait to look at 'em all!
