Forest Law design for Tekken 8
Design wise I wanted to keep what made Forest, Forest. A top.
Compared to Marshall, his father, who always was more representative of shirtless iterations of Bruce Lee. Forest always wore a shirt of some sort. Notably a traditional style Chinese shirt.
Using some elements like the belt and wristbands from older designs, I made them blue to match Forest's classic color scheme.
From a game play perspective I could see it being tedious and unnecessary to have Forest return as he and his father have near identical moves.
I originally had thought that the Law in Tekken 8's promo material WAS Forest. His look and hair made me think Forest was actually back. My mistake of course lol
That being said Ive wanted the Tekken team "de-clone" Forest from his father by adding more Paul-esque inspired moves to Forest's moveset. Since he's trained under both Marshall and Paul It would be a really cool way to bring back the character with a new style. But im just rambling now.
