My half of an art trade with my dear friend ! I hope you enjoy it, Key!He's an amazing guy, and I'm surprised I haven't drawn much of his amazing characters lately. If you haven't seen their art, please take a look! Their world is so rich and beautiful, there is so much to love about it. Rose is just one of many characters I love that he created.

Aaaa thanks Dragon! I actually have this method that requires about four layers, two of which are copied from two original layers. I'll start by cell shading the majority of the piece, then copy the layer to give it a "blur" effect with a watercolor brush. I'll then repeat the process in areas that would be shaded darker (like beneath Rose's chin). It's easier than it looks, hehe!

My pretty lady~~ You made her look so precious and absolutely serene The soft red shading and that giant rose background really work so well together; you've made excellent choices with the composition of this. I love it dearly and have to find a good space for this while I'm renovating my page Yet againnn.
