Hi! I’ll be posting this and a couple other WIPs today. They’re not finished, but they’re over a year old so I thought I better share them as they are before I forget they exist - but I hope you enjoy them still! I just never got around to finishing them, and doubt I ever will. I’ll be busy with other fanart ideas, haha… ha… Oh, what is my life?
A little about this piece: I started this after the finale of Merlin - there was still a spark of creativity under all the depression, lol. I imagined this scene - an alternate ending in which Arthur is quickly taken to the shores of Avalon and is healed (and Merlin hasn’t bothered to change out of Dragoon’s robes).
Merlin knows not what fate awaits him now that his magic is revealed, but still he kneels before his King. He need not fear, however - along with the breath of life, the Sidhe have imparted unto Arthur the knowledge of all that Merlin has done for Camelot. He reaches toward Merlin’s bowed head, calling him to rise… Be they blue or gold, he wants to look into the eyes of his friend and savior…
