(Morgan was adopted just around the time Nat came out of hospital, so this takes place after the events of the last couple instalments. I can't resist a baby!)

Our little foal, Morgan, had a rough start to life. A beautiful little Thoroughbred filly who was part of an unusual pair of twins - the larger of the two, a buckskin colt, did not survive the birth, but the far smaller Morgan survived. Lakeland and Carter Thoroughbreds were contacted after the mare rejected her, and despite our plans to graft her onto one of our mares, Nazzy the pony gelding took it upon himself to parent his little adopted daughter.
