I'm thinking of opening up commissions to make some food money, so I figured I'd work up some samples to show people what they could get.How much do you think I should charge for one of these? There is no wrong answer, unless you decide to be a jerk and say something like 50 cents, in which case you just failed the course and will have to take it again over the summer. C:
Also, please don't be upset if I didn't draw your character here. I still want to be bros.

Umm. I am in agreement with the ten-twenty figure. Maybe less for a sketch/noncolored version and more for the pretty fully rendered ones like these?
Also Hanna and Conrad are super awesome in the middle there. That made me spew coke out of my nose.

I'd say you can get away with charging between ten and twenty dollars. I'd suggest sticking close to ten though since people are cheap and the cheaper the price the more likely it is that you'll get alot of commissions.

I don't know about that... I don't think your styles are very similar at all! the both of you have unique styles to offer... I don't see any parallels to be drawn...
it's just that if one of you is selling for 5 or more dollars lower, people might go for the cheapest one. Economics, you know?

I'd have to agree with ~orlyman and go with about $10-20. Like, depending on colors and complexity, or if they just want the line art.
