History:

Midnight was born in a forest in France in a small family. The Rune Beast spent 50 years in the community, foraging and hunting before deciding to migrate to form a community of their own. As opposed to the at the time traditional communities, Midnight guided the community they led to focus on some becoming merchants to trade with others. After several years of leading and gaining enough money, he decided to get a proper education in his eyes and found the Chateau de Cristal to help progress their career further.
Now, they are a student at the Chateau de Cristal.
Species: Rune Beast (Closed Species by Whirlwind-Tigress )- A taur species that are defined by having a singular unique symbol on their lower half which is their main identifier. No two Rune Beasts share the same name at the same time, but if one passes away, a newly born Rune Beast can have a different symbol with the same meaning as a previous beast. They possess horns, a gemstone on their upper body, non-human skin tones, coloured sclera and a tail (any shape) with a pearl on their tail. These creatures tend to live in isolated communities in the forest. They can be summoned if their symbol is drawn and magic energy is imbued into it.

Natural Abilities:
Super Speed- Able move at speeds between 45-60 MPH for periods of 20 minutes. They usually needs to rest for at least an hour afterwards.

Summoning- By drawing Midnight's symbol it is possible to for them be summoned them if someone imbues magic.

Darkvision- Midnight is capable of seeing in dim light if it was bright light and if it is dark, he is capable of seeing it in if it was dimly lit.
Learned Abilities:
Shapeshifting- Can shapeshift into a humanoid form where they retain their horns, eyes and skin tone.

Shadow Manipulation- - Currently can only fire small orbs of shadow, the size of an apricot.

Shadow Merging- When focused, Midnight can merge into the shadows for five minutes and can move around. If light is shone on them, they will be forced to remerge.

Darkness Shroud- Via the use of magic, Midnight's body is capable of dimming the area around him with a range of 5m. It can last up to ten minutes.

Alluring- Via the use of magic, he can make himself more appealing. He must be focused and his limit currently stands at 5 minutes. Those with a strong will are not affected by this ability. Permission will be asked prior to using this ability.
Weaknesses:
Word Usage- If the word that they are named after becomes less commonly used in the surrounding area, the Rune Beast suffers a loss in their abilities. If a word falls completely out of use, the Rune Beast simply ceases to exist. To keep their strength up at peak condition, their name needs to be spoken within earshot once a day.
Mortality- Anything that can harm a human can harm Midnight.
Iron- Contact weakens his abilities and periods longer than ten seconds begin to slowly poison them.
Bound by a Mark- Whilst their mark serves as an identifier, it can be used to potentially can be used to capture them. Especially if it is etched into a permanent
