WHY ARE THERE SO MANY AWESOME TRADITIONAL ARTISTS OUT THERE?

SERIOUSLY. This is stunning. I think my head might have exploded out of admiration and envy that's been building up in the 10 minutes I've just spent staring that this!

It's just.. wow. I'm sorry, I can't come up with something more literate. <3

Colours, linearts, the faces are SO adorable and I love how you've done the paws! and the shading and furring and colours and.. UNG. it's so awesome. O: and I really love the effect of the contrast of Ronnel's blue eyes to his warm coloured coat. O:

I do sometimes, but I'm still so backed up with all the stuff I need to do I'm trying valiantly not to start any more until I finish all the stuff I've already got on my plate.

Which is a painful decision, especially when artists like you might be interested. ><

*giggles* Someone else described him as lava-y, so I think it's a wonderful word choice! He does look a bit like lava, with bits of hardened lava rock floating on it. XD He approves.

D'aw I rember this line art!!! You used it for your outline tutorial!! I always wanted to see it colored! I love this! The characaters make sucha huge contrast, they match really well, I love the one standing....oh, the poses are awsome too!!! Shading as always brillinat....

XD I started using it for a coloring tutorial, but I ended up messing up a bunch and didn't want it to be miles long as I explained how to recover from screwups. *giggles*

Ooh, I like this very much. You have a very interesting looking style, and your pencil coloring is so amazing. Both characters look quite beautiful, too. Very nice work.

Kinda sucks that scanner, and photos never like to do pictures justice, though.

Thank you! Thank you very much! =] I'm still learning a lot, and growing with each picture. I can see where the anatomy fails miserably on this one now (though at the time I thought it was the shizzle) and where I'd improve if I was to redo it. =] The coloring turned out verra nice (and I agree, if only I could BLINK and take a picture and send it to my computer, it'd look sooooo much better. Eye cameras ftw) but the colors are a little skewed since I started coloring it and abandoned it months ago, so I had to improvise to make it all match with my newer style. XD Ronnel turned out much more lava-y than rusty, but he approves of the outcome, so who am I to complain? *giggles*

XD It's from my lineart tutorial. Probably my most-faved deviation at this point, every once in a while I'll get a few more favs on it. Which makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that people like it and use it. =]

And sure, you can ask! Kuna is the wolfy one (that's me) and Ronnel is the lava-y one (that's my hubby). =]

These guys are the result of my coloring contest that I held ages and ages ago (and still owe prizes on). ^^

Thank you! The lineart's a little old, but I like the pose idea, even if I'd change some of the anatomy now. And I had a lot of fun coloring it and experimenting with deep shadows on Ronnel's coat. =]
