REX - 9H 41 MMy tyrannosaurus rex character named "Rex" that I play on Path of Titans. I am trying to work on avoiding the detail/rendering stage too early... with this I think I had a pretty solid sketch starting off and was able to achieve my goal of at least ATTEMPTING to wait until the end to get into those nitty gritty details... albeit not entirely. Still, I think its a step in the right direction. My sketches really lack any structure so I can look at a piece simply and allow my brush strokes to do the work for me so that I can create an illusion of fine detail without having to go in with a small round brush and torture myself by drawing every dot/texture. There's still a lot I would change and/or do differently, but overall I am pleased with the end result of Rex.- - - - - - - - - -
