Description Stuff like this doesn't happen with any of my other followers. Just Farkas. I think I mentioned somewhere that he randomly changes from steel armor to wolf armor. Now this. We were just walking through Whiterun Hold, minding our own business, and suddenly it was like he fell into a hole. I walked a few paces farther, and he popped up and kept following me. I'm just shakin' my head.

Wow, that's weird. He is wearing steel armor, but I didn't put that in the keywords, so I wonder why it would pull it out. dA is so goofy.

Lol, Bethesda WTF? My followers don't random bug out often, when they do they mostly only bug out sometimes after an intense battle or being blasted with tons of magic, For me dragons bug out more often.. They freeze up, or become invincible, sometimes fly backwards and skid around in the sky and do wierd unnatural flight stuff, and sometimes they don't want to give souls.

Of course I have some of the classic default Skyrim follower bugs that almost everyone has, like Illia not following, and pretty much all followers not wanting to use a better bow you give them, than their hidden hunting bow. Erandur seems slightly more buggy than others because he seems to glitch out easily after getting blasted by strong magic.

Vilkas is a lovely husband, but glitchy once you complete the Companion quest line. He gets stuck in things, pops in and out of sight from moment to moment, and still won't cook for me any more. Today when I was playing, he decided to hang around the corpse of a dragon for 4 days. Four. Days. rawr! I still love you pixel hubby.

Wow, that's nuts. I haven't used him. Of the Companions, I mostly used Aela, and Vilkas sometimes until I got too strong. I want try Farkas out, but I hate how my companions in the Circle are weak since I am level 75 and can't seem to Wabbajack them to their best level. So I user other followers mostly now.

When I was playing on Xbox, I had a bug with Erandur where he would get stuck on the stairs up to the library in his original quest. I haven't had him as a follower, though, and I'm playing on PC now, so I don't know what would happen. I actually had a dragon not give me his soul yesterday, too. Pissed me off! Otherwise, Farkas is the only one who seems to glitch with me. Except for the ones where he won't fight (also pisses me off), they're usually hilarious. Actually, sometimes the ones when he won't fight are pretty funny, too.

I have read on Skyrim wikis about how Erandur often gets buggy. I started reading wikis because I got so confused when I couldn't find Arvel the Swift in the first dungeon most people play because he poof disappeared after he fled(he might have died under a Giant spider or slipped under the floor, and because of other bugs like the Jorrvaskr exit crash and glitch. My Jorrvaskr has that exit bug (it totally sucks).

Luckily my Erandur seems okay and I looks him on some adventures. Although last night I had my a bugging of a follower. I might be magic-blasts related. I, Ghorbash the iron Hand, and my two dead thralls took out the Karthspire Camp again just for the heck of it, and after it was done Ghorbash took his time walking back to me, and he started doing this funny dance. I have never seen him dance before. It looked slightly like the drunk dance that bums do when you give them drinks, and it was a dance I don't think I have seen anyone do before. After that, he kept doing the little dance over and over for about an hour, then he went back to normal. While he was in that mode I could still interact and trade things, he was just slow at following because he wanted to dance a bunch. I had been playing Skyrim for hours, and when I do long plays is when I get the most Skyrim bugs, and lag/freeze/crash issues. This could have helped cause his bugginess that day.
