Description Well...seems that the first of any pictures I post from my Disney trip should be this one. It all started with a man and a mouse, so I figure they should be honored. That and it's a pretty picture

I love Cinderella castle, the forced perspective makes you think it's huge...but it's only 180 something feet tall! If it had been 200 or more, they would have had to put a light on top for airplanes. Forced perspective keeps it under the limit so the magic isn't ruined with a blinking light, lol.

By the way, the castle is 188 feet tall.

It is. I bought it at Disneyland. It's actually just a smaller copy of the original painting.
Never been to Disneyworld, but I'd like to go one day a well as visitAnimal Kingdom.

Lol, Animal Kingdom is a part of Disney World, so if you get to go, you'll surely be able to visit it! Just...bring a bottle of water and lots of sunscreen

I could imagine the Walter Elias Disney statue shedding tears of blood at some point because of what his company has become because of Hannah Montana, the High School Musical series, etc. Still, I admire the man, if not necessarily the company anymore, since here we have a man who built his company up from nothing.

Well, the disne company has been doing all sorts of things lately that Walt never iagined, i'm sure...like owning all those other companies. Thankfully the parks (at least Magic Kingdom) takes a much more classical approach to things. They do have a street show thing at Hollywood Studios for High School Musical now...

I swear, everything in the parks is designed to make things as perfect as possible. Even the red colored road down main street is designed to enhance visitor photos!

I love it there, so much!

"The Kingdom Keepers" is a novel by Ridley Pearson about these five kids who become holographic Disney hosts but find themselves against a Disney villains when they fall asleep. It takes place in the Magic Kingdom after the park closes, I suggest you get it from the library or something! It's so good!

Thanks! Yeah, there's just about no way to get a crowdless picture unless you're first in the park, lol. Didn't help that there was a stage show going on at the foot of the castle at the time

Pure magic. All the parks are different too, though they have their similarities. But the way things are designed, and set up, and the rides and decorations...there's no way to go there and not feel a part of something magical
