I absolutely love this! The hair and the smoky effect on the background are very well done, and the colouring, between the background, the dress and the natural way the lighter shade "smoke" highlights the girl in the center of the picture. A great piece. Any constructive criticism would be that her wrists seem a bit dainty, and her neck and chin seem a bit flat compared to each other. But you did a great job on her hands, especially her thumbs, they're honestly, literally perfect.
All around a great, emotive piece!

I was hesitant to mention the wrists, because it did seem like artistry instead of a proportion mistake. The thing is, though, that even within the style, they seem too thin compared to her upper arm, and the right wrist appears much thinner than the left one.
An additional couple of things I like(sorry, I'm all out of criticism!) is the shading of her upper arm and between her shoulders, which you've pulled off really well. The other thing is her elbow, something a lot of people neglect in favour of focusing on their 'finger-work'. It's hard to get the pointedness of the elbow right, and there's only the smallest margin between way too pointy and very well made, and often you can't put your finger on what looks wrong, it's just there. I only noticed that on my third or fourth view, haha, but there you go.

I am pretty proud o the shading on this piece I admit ^^ Considering how quickly done it was it ended up looking pretty good! Though the dress needs some work, lol.
Hmmm...so i'm a good elbow drawer, eh? Works for me! I just need to get the upper arm to look less stiff and i'll have the whole arm down!

To be honest, I don't think her upper arm is too stiff here. She is, after all, lifting up her dress, and the fabric of a ballroom gown can be pretty darn heavy.
But if we start taking *that* into consideration, I'd have to ask you to draw and shade her upper arm so her bicep is a little bit flexed, and with nitpicking like that I might as well tell you to take a photograph instead, haha!

Lol, it's the biceps I have problems with. Sometimes I manage to capture the shape in the general outline, but sometimes I just can't. And sometimes, like here, i'm not even trying to get things right

I'm just a middle ground girl. I'm equally at home in jeans and a tshirt and a swooshy skirt and heels, lol. Not a girly girl, but not a tomboy either. But i'm ok with that
Meh, that's the way it works though. If you're confident about it, then it means you'll be sure to mess up when you perform. If you're unsure, then you'll work harder to perform better
