Whisper sighed, staring at the dark ceiling overhead. She looked to her left at the clock and held back a groan. Two in the morning...and she couldn't for the life of her fall asleep.

She looked to her right, where Briar lay, a smile on his face and his arm draped over her waist.

He was her problem...she had the perfect scene in her head. And every time she closed her eyes, another piece fell into place. She had to get it down before she forgot it! But moving would wake him..

She closed her eyes, let them pop open, glanced at the clock, then at Briar, and then back at the clock.

Oh screw it. She rolled over, making Briar groan as her waist left his grip, and grabbed her laptop, sitting up and crossing her legs beneath the blankets. His arm snaked back into place, but he didn't open his eyes as he spoke.

"Couldn't you do that in the morning?" he asked softly as her laptop warmed up.

She grinned and looked down at him. "Nope. Shut up and go to sleep."

He opened an eye to glare playfully at her, then shut it again. "Fine." he said, already halfway there.

His arm never left her waist...

Ugh stupid scanner!! It ruined the "background" of this... I wanted to play with lighting as well as perspective some...it's really hard to draw cross-legged people. I cheated and used a blanket, lol.

Fun lighting though, the source is the laptop screen

I like Whisper's face here,though her nose is off...her eyes and mouth and eyebrows make up for it! Evil angle...
