I still can't tell you why I'm so frustrated with that Red Umbrella piece...it's bothering me more now that it's finished than it did while I was working on it, lol. Something is off, I dunno what it is
In any case, I decided to do something more fun and more my style to relax from it, and this was the result!Introducing the main male lead of my Steampunk Disney story (I really need a name for it, since it'll never be a Disney movie...), who is nameless as of yet. I'll figure it out XD He's Adelaide's romantic interest (dunno if they'll get together during the story yet). He was a racer recruited to law enforcement and working undercover to infiltrate the sky pirate gangs of the city XD
I may or may not have developed a crush on him while drawing this

Lol, there's no story yet I'm afraid XD It's in the planning process still, and I just occasionally doodle people from it as I go, but it's very much a side project that's taking foreeeeeever. It's just too hard to put everything else off to focus on this one, lol.

(I know how that is...I once had two characters waltz into my mind and announce that they were Judd and Monicka. And Halyn was not going to let me name her Kata...and Esteban said no to Steven and Stefan. M was a little more lenient- he let me go from Martin "M" to Matt...but yeah. And Calista won't let me call her Callie, no matter how hard I try.)

Well, I wasn't very nice to Calista, I'll admit. Within the first chapter, I killed off her mother and twin brother, turned her father against her, and had her born blind. And throughout the course of the story, more crap happens to her...it's a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and you can only see where the rest of this goes...kidnapping, betrayal...yeah. She has reason not to like me. I'm kind of a mean author.

He is XD Well, I'm torn...I keep thinking of him being very cool, but not in an "i'm awesome!" sort of way. More like he's really cool without really meaning to be. But he's not super flirtatious either, just friendly. But he's more likely to frown than smile when he's just sitting around...he's a little more serious...but not grumpy? Gah, I dunno if that makes any sense -.-
And please don't apologize! that's pretty darn accurate XD He's observant, I know that much, so he'd certainly notice when she tries something new...and he'd probably love it when she's excited over her hair because he really liked it, lol.

Hmm...I'm not sure. I try and really feel out my characters before I choose a name for them, and it has to fit the steampunk world they're in as well, so it'll take some thinking about. Hopefully I get the plot figured enough to start writing it soon
