I am very impressed by this and your other work. Very unique style and refreshing approach to traditional art.

I'm curious... What did happen to your "daily deviation" featuring? I looked at this piece a while ago and kept it to look at it later (now), and now it's not featured, and your pageviews are few compared to other featured artists... Besides that, you're good, so, I'm confused.

Congratulations on being featured. You really deserve it.

This painting is incredible. At first glance I wasn't sure whether it was copper or some form of scrunched paper. I am delighted to find that it is entirely painted. The texture you have achieved is incredible and so beautiful.

I really like the gradual fading out of the man's outline, how there aren't any definite edges. I think it is effective in making him look even older, and perhaps sader, like a yellowing aged photograph or a worn drawing from long ago.

You have also captured his expression well. His eyes have a depth of meaning and a vacant yet real kind of loneliness and despair.

You did a very wonderful job capturing the emotion and wisdom in his face and eyes. I wonder what you painted this on, because the over-all rough texture really helps with the antiqued feel. Congrats on being featured in UA!
