Hello! I'm here from Canipulate with your requested critique.
Let me just start by saying that I love the perspective you chose to employ in this work. 'From above' is one of my favorite things to see as its not seen very often, and its hard to pull off successfully. But I think you did a great job with it here! The stock you chose work really well together.
The lighting creates a bit of mystery - whats out there in the dark? The color scheme adds a fun element that catches one's attention, too. The piece is not overly complex in and of itself, and I think that the brighter colors against the darkness help capture the audience's interest. Its a very nice, simple manipulation!
I think my only major critique would be with the eyes. While you did a really nice job with shadows on the fox itself, the eyes have no shadows or catch lights. Adding a bit of shadow to the right edges of the irises could have given them a bit more depth. Including faint catch lights let the viewer know where the light originates from.
I hope this was a helpful critique, and we look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
