Description
After using his Svengali-like powers on a psychologist at Bel Reve, the Maestro made his escape into the world. I was intently looking for him, and acting on a week old clue that placed him in his old hideout on Shadow Hills on the west side of Queen City. The old manor appeared well-kempt and certainly didn't appear unoccupied. I crept in the door, and made my way to library, a place where the Maestro had taken control of my mind some months back. This time, though, I was ready for him.

He sat in a comfortable chair, a snifter of cognac in his hand. "Ah White Owl!" he exclaimed. "So glad to see you again. Have you come to surrender to me?" His voice was melodic, soothing and mesmerising. I anchored my feet and crouched, ready to strike.

"I think you're mistaken this time," I said. "You're the one who needs to surrender." But from behind me, I felt a strong hand clasp my wrist, twist and throw me over her shoulder. I gasped in surprise as the Amazon Arrow threw me like a rag doll.

"Well done Amazon Arrow!" said the Maestro. "With White Owl defeated, I shall soon have TWO super powered puppets to play with."
