Description It was supposed to be a simple mission...The planet wasn't supposed to be inhabited anymore, and the archaeologist in Dr Nikos convinced Captain Johnson that she could head a survey team for recovery of some plant and soil samples--as well as a brief archeological survey.

Captain Johnson almost said no; the Athena had to be on station at Sigma Iotia II to help collect the Federation's "Piece of the action." Still, the captain reasoned a shuttle could catch up the the Athena in a 48 hour period.

With the help of Assistant Engineer Cole and Security Officer Elly, Dr Nikos led the team to Fortuna IV's dusty plains. After a safe landing the team went exploring. As they were preparing to load the shuttle for departure, a boulder came hurtling into the camp. Cole dropped to one knee, and Elly drew her phaser as well. Dr Nikos pulled her communicator to hail the Athena, but knew the sun was in between the ship and the planet...Rescue seemed unlikely at this point...

I see you have no more common sense as a space archeologist than you do as a super heroine. I do give you credit; you seemed rather blase' about the whole thing. Perhaps this is just another day in the life of - "DR. NIKOS - ARCHEOLOGIST IN SPACE!"

Sadly Starfleet hadn't yet given the red uniforms to command level officers, or none of them would have to worry about making it back unscathed! A wonderful surprise of a pic!
