Description
This came to me while rewatching all of The Dukes of Hazzard these past few weeks. Specifically in the beginning of Season 3, Episode 2: "Carnival of Thrills - Part 2". If you know The Dukes of Hazzard, then you may know what moment I'm referring to.

Also, I wanted to tweak Angela's design here, changing her miniskirt into a skort (shorts and skirt combo), making it a little easier for me to draw her in any pose I want without having people (and DA's dumb-bots) complain about any pantyshots that may or may not be helped.

Something had happened in Mobafornia City that got Angela's full attention. It made her feel like she had finally found something she had been searching for for the past 9-10 years of her life. Her old friend, Ruby, however, was a little skeptical about it. For a while, the two have different opinions on the matter; things heat up more and more as time goes on. Until one day, Angela had had enough of Ruby's subtle objections and starts throwing rude comments against her.

The two argue left and right in the Boarding House for a bit until Angela gets in Ruby's face and exclaims, "You're lucky that we're in the old man's house, or I'd show you just how weak you've become since leaving the Freedom Fighters!"

"You're unlucky," Ruby responds. "We can always step outside."

Without saying another word, the two girls exit the Boarding House and walk onto the city streets. The rest of the house residents, including the owner, Old Man Shaggy the Tortoise, steps outside after them, worried about what was about to happen.

"Now, girls," Shaggy said in a worried tone, "just calm down before either of you do something that you'll regret for the rest of your lives."

Angela keeps her eyes on Ruby as she takes her Beam Saber off her skort and tosses it on to the sidewalk, next to the others; she didn't want what was coming to get deadly. "Old man," she says, "I don't have any regrets about anything." She clenches her fist. "Especially not this." She swings and punches Ruby in the mouth, making the fox fall on her back! Everyone else is in shock by Angela's attack, especially young Pearl the Squirrel, who looks up to her like a big sister.

Ruby slowly gets back up as a small line of blood rolls down from her mouth. "Angela," she said. "I may not be a Freedom Fighter anymore, but at least I'm strong enough to stop clinging to the past, like you are!" With that said, she immediately charges at Angela, pushing her back a ways before knocking her down!

The two teenagers start fighting fiercely, trading blow after blow through the street. The others couldn't do anything except watch in shock as the two friends fight like their lives were on the line. Even Clyde the Raccoon, the biggest pervert in all of Mobafornia City, can't believe this turn of events as he holds the frightened Pearl close to comfort her. Both Johnny the Cyberhog and Kilo Prower were in total disbelief most of all; so much that they both decided that their girlfriends (well, girlfriend in Kilo's case; friend in Johnny's) could kill each other of the fight went on too long. They ready their arm cannon and Ki Blaster respectively and rush in to stop the fight!

Angela and Ruby were at a standoff at that point, both trying to push each other with all they had! Their faces were battered, bloody, and bruised, their tops were torn, and their hair had become a mess from the confrontation. It was clear that neither one of them wanted to back down until there was only one left standing. Angela's temper was beginning to get the better of her as her eyes slowly began to glow yellow. She was nearing her breaking point until...

BANG!! BOOM!! BANG!!

Both girls look to see Johnny and Kilo with their weapons aimed up at the sky, both panting hard from running. Steam and smoke were coming out of their weapons, signifying that they had indeed fired to stop the fight.

"That's enough!" Kilo exclaimed with a stern expression. "This has gone on long enough!"

"I agree," Johnny remarked. "This is not the way to settle things in this city and you two know it!"

"Now break this Chao crap up," Kilo barks, "stop acting like children and make up! Right now!"

The girls look at each other for a moment, then easily break out of their hold and stand normally again.

"...Okay, look," Ruby starts, exhausted from the fight. "I'm sorry. Maybe I spoke out of turn back there."

"Damn right, you did," Angela replied, wiping off the blood coming from her nose. "Maybe that'll teach you to question something that makes me feel complete again."

"Angie..." Johnny said quietly, lowing his robotic arm back down as it switches from a cannon back to a hand. "She's only--"

Kilo stops Johnny right there and said, "No. Let them talk this out. I think this is something they have to settle themselves."

Ruby wipes the blood from her mouth. "All I was saying is that maybe things weren't what they seem," she said. "We always have to get as much info as we can before making decisions that could impact our lives. That was something I learned during the Metacon War." She catches her breath, then slowly approaches her friend. "Look," she continued, "I know that you're been fighting for a long time, trying to find that something that you've lost. But it's not always gonna come knocking at your door when you want it the most. Sometimes you find these things without even realizing it. ...I just want you to know that. If you want to go on with your choice, then I won't stop you."

Angela pauses, then responds, "...Why are you telling me this? And why did you do all of this if you were just gonna let me live my life how I want?"

"Because I was looking out for my friend," Ruby answers. "That's what we do."

No one had spoken another word after that answer. Shortly, everyone returned to the Boarding House. Kilo and some of his and Ruby's friends tend to her wounds.

Meanwhile, Angela just stands on the building's roof, looking out to the horizon. Johnny joins her with a first-aid kit in hand.

Without looking at her, he asks, "You want to handle the wounds yourself, or would you like me to?"

"Go for it," she replies somberly.

He opens the kit and starts to tend to her wounds, starting with a bruise on her mid-side just below her torn mini-tank-top. The stinging of the ointment doesn't faze her, which didn't surprise him.

"...Hey," Angela quietly speaks. "...Thanks."

"For what?" Johnny asks as he hands her a wipe.

She takes the wipe and cleans off the now dried blood from her nose and below. "For stopping the fight," she answers. "...I could feel my power rising just before you intervened. I might have broke loose if you didn't."

"It's okay," he replies. "We all get mad at times, even with our best friends. But, as the old tortoise always said, it's what we do with that anger that counts. Honestly, I just could stand seeing you and Ruby hurting each other like that anymore. I'm sure Kilo felt the same."

She nods in response as he stands up straight and wraps an arm around her. She gently leans her head against his shoulder and said, "Still, she packed quite a punch. I guess she wasn't as weak as I thought she'd be."

"Guess that means things aren't so black and white now, huh, Miss Freedom Fighter?" he said in a joking tone.

She smiles and gently elbows him in the gut. "Shut up, Cyberhog" she responds. "...But, yeah, I guess so. ...I've got some thinking to do. Could you..?"

Johnny nods and leaves her alone, leaving the kit behind for her. She starts to work on the rest of her wounds as she continues to look to the horizon. It was clear that she had a LOT of hard thinking to do...
