Good Goddess, I know... I seriously can't even say what I was thinking when I got the inspiration to make this picture, and especially as I know next to nothing about Pokemon (other than recognizing meme-inspiring little critters like this that one can readily come across on the internet, that is). But there you are I suppose.I've never been particularly fond of this artwork for some reason... I think Fluttershy's mouth bothers me more than maybe it should, but since I consented to post it up on my blog despite my misgivings I'll do the same here as well. And yes, before any of you feel the need to ask I do 'liek them'.

I find it to be very fitting in a way that she would have an encounter with a mudkip(or any other Pokemon anyways) i can actually see her raising it with love and care like *all the pokemon trainers out their lulz* i can see her having fun with mudkip. being a bit shocked to find out he can spit multiple gallons of water that could have been put to use (lol). I can see her freaking out when it evolves that would be a real sight :3

While Mudkip is an infamous joke. It is no joke that Fluttershy would find them to be adorable or that both of them together would be very cute.
Great combo. I love pony/pokemon crossovers. I have seen some very cute combos, mostly with Fluttershy.

I haven't seen a whole lot of pony/pokemon crossover art myself, but I can imagine it must exist and also, it seems highly natural to me that most of it would be featuring Fluttershy! And yes, I agree... this idea came quite out of the blue for me, yet I thought it fit and so had to draw it once inspiration did strike.

befrieinding them is easy, just use your forced servitude ball, but its outright impossible to find the starters in the wild

I can already see like fluttershy in a heroic pose with her swampert by her side (also in a heroic pose) after just defeating like team aqua or something, then she will realize she just put her pet in really long battle and will start freaking out wondering if he/she is hurt.

I'll be the first person to admit that my knowledge of Pokemon is very, very limited... my youngest niece used to play it and watch the cartoon years ago and I used to draw some of them for her, but other than that I really don't know much about it. I can't even say what ever inspired me to draw this picture, but I'm glad that people seem to enjoy looking at it anyway!
