....I cannot lie, I seriously do adore Rarijack. It's my terrible guilty pleasure, even guiltier than my cornball daytime soap opera I never, ever miss. What started as a simple fascination courtesy of an unassuming fanfiction I happened to read when I first joined the pony community, ended up snowballing to the point that I have now become a ridiculous sappy-shippy fangirl. I had never "shipped" anything in my 30 years before ponies either, so the irony that a largely male fanbase of a little girl's cartoon has resulted in my developing such a pathetic addiction has not been lost on me, believe me.But in any case, yes, do have some adorable ponies, and even if we shall only imagine them enjoying a nice day together in an entirely platonic fashion (it's possible if you squint enough). Just lookit them, they're so darling~!

I basically feel the same way as you, except instead of running into a Rarijack fanfiction that got me interested I ended up running into a bunch of drawings and a blog by one particular artist. *Coughs*

I got a question, i see how lesbianism is more than accepted, is beloved by everyone, no one seems to care the oddities. Is like everyone is acting like me, as when i found endearment with lesbians even though im not female. Even the first glimpise of pornography was with lesbians, i......simply found them like genderless.

Hey my mom's friend (age 36) is a fan of MLP:FiM so I think its pretty cool that anyone within the as of 20-40 love the show. Even though I'm 16 I still think it's odd for me to like the show. But I don't care I love it xD

30 years before ponies huh? Good to see I'm not one of the only ones in the fandom in their 30s. I know it's not too rare, but most in the fandom tend to be not much further than their mid-20s. Course you being a female is probably more acceptable. Though I'm not ashamed to be a brony. Besides, I look to be in my mid 20s so I have that going for me. I'm sure I still get funny looks from people when I wear my pony shirts, but I don't really give a horse neer.
Either way, love your work even though I'm not big on mare/mare shipping.

okay, so there's people pining for applejack x rarity, applejack x rainbow dash, and applejack x pinkie pie (pet name there was pretty creative, apple pie). it's nice, but conflicting and very elitist, only involving the mane 6 characters.

There are people out there who ship all of the mane characters together (and even some of them who ship them ALL together at the same time!), and I don't think there's anything wrong with that as people should be free to explore and interpret characters and their relationships as they like. As long as one doesn't go out of their way to harass or disrespect people with differing opinions, I don't see why it should ever be a problem.

that answers most of what i put in the last comment, but still doesn't answer the whole elitist issue. most of the shipping i see online only involves the mane six being shipped with each other. i mean, i also see lyra x bon bon, and derpy x doctor hooves, but that's all i see with them, and i don't see much shipping of other background ponies.

I'm... afraid I'm not really sure what you mean by that, or how one's choosing to ship some or all of the main characters with each other only could possibly qualify as "elitist". People will pair up characters in fanfiction and fanart as they choose (and again, they should be free to do so), which can include mane characters with other mane characters only, or background characters only with other background characters, or whatever, and yes I have seen plenty of examples of Mane Six ponies being shipped with random characters who have only appeared in the background in episodes one time, and have no established personalities whatsoever. The only reason that intra-Mane Six pairings are predominant in the fandom is because the characters are far and away the most developed and fleshed out, obviously, and so it makes sense that people would be more inclined to want to explore relationships between them than with other characters who have little to no development.

After reading the description/artist's comments, I couldn't help but grin. Nearly the same darn thing happened to me. Friend of mine kept tossing out random MLP FIM episodes for me to watch, but nothing really took hold until the day he held aloft his magic hook and said "By the power of Rarijack!" and cast it in my direction.
Your art is lovely, so many feels, and I am now stalk--err, watching you.

Aw, why didn't I favorite this? I love the poses, their expressions, the shading and highlights, and as always, your style! It's just so awesome and paint-ie looking! The picture is most certainly adorable 
The wheat stalk in Applejack's mouth and her tilted hat add to the scene a good bit, too. They both look pretty in-character :3.

I am terribly, terribly late I'm afraid, and I'm very sorry about that! But this is an absolutely wonderful comment, and I really must thank you so sincerely for leaving it for me. Even though this is an older picture now, and perhaps not comparable in quality to some of my newer works as a result, I've always been quite fond of it and so really appreciate the fact that you like it too (of course, I have a very very soft spot for Rarity and Applejack!). Certainly, I always make an effort to leave my more "shippy" pictures on the ambiguous side and agreeable to a friendshipping interpretation if that's what a viewer prefers, so I encourage you to think of it that way if that's the way you like to see it!
