A massive beast crafted from middle eastern opals, she is designed to protect her kingdom from magical foes. Seeing as Agrabah has been under attack by all sorts of magical beings. Sorcerers, Genies, Necromancers-- you name it. Able to fly, produce hyper beams, and grow to great sizes.

It's only natural Jafar's son Sayid wanted to steal it.
