Own for cursing the kingdom of ulster to have constant labor pains after forcing her to run in a chariot race while pregnant, which induced her to give birth to her twins. One of them being Mac Lir. Later, feeling her actions were too brutal she went around taking feelings away-- by turning fae to stone!

Morrigan, the raven witch, Goddess of War and Death. A great ally to the Tuatha clan. Known for changing the tides to battles by sleeping with the leaders and sending the dead to the afterlife when they fell in battle. She married King Elatha of the Fomorians to prevent further conflicts between the clans. Mother to Bellanos and Fantsus. Murdered by Barael and her magic stolen to bring Crom Cruach back to life and wipe out the Tuatha clan. Leaving Aisling the soul survivor.

Nemain, the vulture witch. Banshee goddess. Often forgotten and left in the shadow of her younger sister, Morrigan, she foretells the deaths of mortals and fae by washing blood of their clothes or singing her song at night to collect their souls. Consumed by jealousy, she's the most unstable of the three sisters and has a taste for human flesh. Mother to Fiachra and Isolde, grand mother to Morna and Barael. She was the spirit who drove Aidan's father, Kade, into madness on the battlefield. Claiming he was haunted by a demon with violet eyes.
