Description

My boyfriend and I kept thinking about other mass crossover settings just to get some different stories outside of certain settings. So since we both love World of Warcraft, we set this one loosely in Drustvar, this wooded area plagued by witches and demons. So we retooled it to be a grimdark setting for characters to meet.

So far the basic plot is a family of inventors, Maurice, Belle, Viktor, and Arthur (AKA Eggs)--- Yes, Eggs had a real name all along-- who knew!--- Move into a new town after Viktor accidentally got Sky killed when she got crushed by the water mill Viktor was trying to repair. He was proclaimed innocent by the court, but locals still labeled him as a murderer. So having no other choice, the family loaded up and arrived in Drustvar.

Drustvar didn't often get new faces. Not since the Leader of the town Cromwell was found beheaded in the town square. Frollo now has taken control in his late cousin's place, and is constantly searching for the alleged "Headless Horseman". All the while protecting his granddaughter, Caitlyn who's trying to step in as sheriff. This was not the first time someone in the town came out missing a head. The town's local school teacher, Ichabod had vanished leaving his bell necklace behind on the road. With the school temporarily closed, the orphanage's caregiver Snow White tried to help home school the children for a whole year.

So Viktor signed on to be the new teacher and help out, hoping to put his past behind him and do some good. His baby brother was added to the school while Belle was appointed as the new librarian, but she was forbidden by Frollo to access the restricted section. Rumors were said that there were books bound in human skin were locked in there and carried dark magic. Why they were not burned was because the books would seemingly be returned back on the self undisturbed.

Despite having worries about taking up a job that was previously occupied by someone who was murdered, the first school session went off without a hitch. Snow was very impressed and gave Viktor her blessing as the new teacher. She told him it was inspiring to see someone finally take it on after so many were afraid to. Viktor found it charming at first--- until she used that word.

Viktor felt himself grow ill and abruptly, tearing off in such a hurry it hurt. Even Eggs seemed worried.

Snow was left confused. She thought she was being nice. Regardless, she felt she did something very wrong and felt compelled to make one of her signature pies as an apology before tending to her children in the orphanage. By then Viktor was home and had forgotten about the incident. By then he was letting his crippled leg rest from the strain he put himself through. But then there was a knocking at the door. Belle answered it to find Snow White with a pie baring Viktor's name baked into buttery crust. Belle joked to her big brother his "girlfriend" had something for him. Viktor denied it, but was surprised to find Snow with a homemade pie addressed to him. Snow rambled off her apologies to him saying she was SO sorry for whatever she said to offend him and wanted him to have something sweet.

Now it was Viktor's turn to be confused.

Offended? She didn't do anything to offend him.

Then it hit him like a pile of bricks. Suddenly he stammered out apologies about his sudden rudeness. They were eventually cut short by the sweet yet familiar smell of Gooseberries. He asked how on earth did she know that was his favorite flavor. Snow cheekily smirked and said it was a lucky guess. She knew how to make all kinds of flavors, but Gooseberry was her signature-- if not most popular. Viktor was very charmed by her generosity and wished to make it up to her later, but for now Snow insisted he enjoy his welcome home present. They were likely to be seeing each other more often than not, since she had to deliver her kids to the school house now. Viktor was glad he didn't make such a lousy impression and watched her part ways back down the wooded path. Belle still teased Viktor asking again if she was his new girlfriend, to which Viktor rolled his eyes with a bashful grin. Right now he was going to settle down and have an early piece of Snow's Gooseberry pie while it was still warm to the touch.
