Hi,

Amazing work.

Lately I've seem several great Digital Sci-Fi works with very few page views. Lots of people who will love it don't have the chance to see.

Most of the Sci-Fi clubs I found in DA are dedicated to TV series or movie fans.

I would like to invite you to join us in a new (just starting) Sci-Fi club dedicated
to any kind of digital picture on the sci-fi theme. I hope we can join people that
produce and like to see astounding images.

If interested please go to [link] and read the journal for info.

================

If for any reason do you don't want to join us, do you think you can authorize the club to display only this image? It is very good indeed.

Cheers.

I'm not quite sure what to think of clubs. Seems like they almost do the opposite of what they intend. I wouldn't mind attracting more people to my gallery, but it seems mostly it attracts people to the club, not my gallery.

I suppose, it'd make more sense to me that if an image is submitted to a club, than when viewed and commented it would show up in my gallery. Basically like one's favorites.

If that were the case, I'd say use any you want. As it stand, you can use this image, as I am curious to see what the results might be like. Could change my mind about clubs. Though I find it interesting that you chose this image of all the ones in my gallery.

Hi James,
I think what attracted me to this one was the unusual angle of view that give emphasis in the robot size and the light placement.

In fact you're partially sure about the Club effect. Always there are some people that look the dev in the club and never goes to the artist. But from
the ones that goes there you will find people that like the same thing as you and like your work.

My idea is to place small images there so people must go to your page to see the full size and also block comments there.

Will place this one and we see. Do not expect lots of page views just now since we just started....

Cheers.

Thanks!

Understood that you're just getting off the ground. I suppose I just think it'd be cool if DA added a clubs feature to the sight directly.... perhaps. A special sort of profile.

I mean, I already flipped through your favorites and found a couple things I liked and favorited myself. The pageview, favorite, and any comments I may have left goes directly into the artist's gallery.

I totally agree that it'd be cool if DA added a clubs feature to the sight directly as an special sort of profile. Instead of submitting the art the club could only link to it.

It is more or less possible if you have a paid account so you can put thumbnails on your journal. So one can collect a selection of great images and post as a journal and people goes directly on the original. But i cant (and dont want) afford a paid account just for posting the club images....

Great comments of yours. I think we could suggest that to DA.

Cheers.
