Hello! I am a warrior in Critmas 2017: War of Honour drafted to the Gingerbread Ninjas! Thanks for helping me win the war by asking for critique.

I like how dark the drawing is, kind of puts you in mind of a sad, more lonely Christmas scene. For some people, that's the kind of festive they know. So you've definitely drawn something that people can relate to outside of the mainstream holiday festivities. Nice work on tapping into that.

I really like the perspective here. It's like you're viewing it as a nature photographer might, from several yards away. I downloaded the full size image to get a better look at the details and it looks like your anatomy on both the deer and person is pretty spot on. I really like the way you did the moon, too. Those swirling clouds give the whole thing a mystical effect. However, I think that the snow could use some texture. Right now it looks like everything is a fog the closer you get to the bottom of the image. Fog is water vapor, so it doesn't tend to happen in frozen environments because the water isn't evaporating.
