Well, the whole page looks really great. But I'd love to know how you achieved the realistic effect on the smoke without obliterating the lines. I can't seem to get it right, though I use many different brushes to experiment, I'm never quite satisfied. Can you tell?

actually i went all over the top of the lines completely. thats that you have to do.

I just don't know what the limits are as regards going over the lines. When I have to paint smoke, fire or clouds it happens the same. Some say it's disrespecful with the penciller, some say it's ok as it looks more realistic. I should ask the artist. Do you ask? Or do you just apply your good judgement?

i usually try the good judgement aspect, though usually if i'm going to erase lines to do my own thing like paint my own fire or clouds i ask the artist first.

I imagine it would be rather bittersweet to work on the last of anything, On one hand you are a Batman-fangirl so I know it was fun for you to do. Haven't read it personally, but I've enjoyed the images you have shared with us!

great tension in each individual shot. I would just critique that it looks like the tension is lessening, because the "camera" is moving out, as opposed to in... probably a question of taste, i think i would have gone in and then finished with the last shot that is the last in yours too (the vehicle hitting the ground, i mean)...
but just excellent artwork as always. coloring is superb.

I really like what you did with his teeth in the first panel. That's one of those little details that makes your stuff fun to look at. I also like the gloves in the third panel. You get the idea from the lines, but you really made it look sweet.
