Description
Da Vinci was always warned never to go out at night. The night was never a good time to go and make street art. But she didn't listen to her parents warnings and snuck out to finish some art she was making for pride month. And here she was, being cornered by three huge dogs. The dogs growled and snarled as they grew closer to Da Vinci, who was whimpering in fear. She felt herself press against the brick wall. Tears filling her eyes as she silently wished she had listened to her family and stayed home. Now she might never see them again. A dog approached and lunged towards her. Da Vinci shut her eyes, expecting the dog to start tearing her apart. But she suddenly heard a yowl and the dog letting out a yelp.

She opened her eyes and saw a gray cat in front of her. Her fur bristled as she hissed and swatted her paw at the dogs. Da Vinci noticed the cat had a claw mark on her face where she probably got scratched by the dog. The dog now had a bleeding eye. The cat gave out one final hiss before the dogs ran off. Silence filled the air, all except for the pants of the two breathing heavily. Da Vinci heart was racing. Not just from the intense moment but also because she had just realized who the cat was. The same cat she had seen a couple of days ago also making street art. Mona.

Mona turned to look at Da Vinci. "You okay?" She asked. Da Vinci only nodded. Her white face now red like a tomato. Mona gave out a sigh of relief. "You know, you have to be more careful at night. You never know what kind of dogs lurk out here in the shadows" she meowed in her soft British accent. "I-i uh....um..." Da Vinci didn't know what to say. Mona tilted her head. Before she could speak, someone called out.

"Da Vinci!!"

Da Vinci turned and saw dolly and Dylan running towards the two. The two older pups had frightened looks on their faces. "Thank goodness we found you.....you...AACHOO!!" Dylan sneezed and shook his head. His allergies were acting up again. He suddenly noticed mona sitting beside Da Vinci. "Who are you?" He asked. Mona gulped softly, "um....my name is mona and-" "You're mona?!" Dolly said in a shocked voice. Dylan also looked shocked. Da Vinci froze and stared at the two. Dolly suddenly grinned. "So you're the one Da Vinci always talks about" she said. Da Vinci blushed heavily and walked over to the two.

"O-Okay. You found me, that's great, now let's go ho-"

"She's even prettier than you described her-"

"DYLAN!!"

Da Vinci covered her face with her paws before she grabbed the two and ran off. Mona watched as they left, blushing lightly before letting out a small giggle. Dolly and Dylan glanced at Da Vinci. The pup had her head down as they walked back home. "So what did we learn?" Dylan asked the pup, who groaned. "Not to sneak out" Dylan nodded. "Exactly. You're lucky mom and dad weren't the ones who saw you" he said. Dolly smiled, "but at least we got to meet that girl you've been talking about" Da Vinci groaned and grabbed her scarf to cover half her face. She was blushing from embarrassment. "Can we please drop it already?"

"You know dolly by now. She's gonna at least tell Dj and Dante about this"
