When they were younger, Nerine and Rivka were very close, but drifted apart as they got older. Nerine became Daddy’s girl who agrees with everything her father says and constantly tries to be the perfect child, pride in the fact that she, Eli and their father were the only "smart, normal" ones in the family. Nerine often sarcastically teases Rivka and would be distasteful towards her older sister in their interactions, showing a temperamental and petty side to her.
