And The Arbiter of Fate.It was odd, considering the name of her planet - Yes, her planet, she did warrant one, after all - Despite the downright drudge and dread the name of her planet seemed prone to illicit in folk with a more cumulative imagination, the land was not, in fact, an outright aberrant wasteland of oil and choking smoke.
No, if anything, it seemed more like a pastel reprieve - The sky was not blackened with soot and smoke, but rather, was a most pleasingly incandescent shade of summer-day blue with swirls of peach (Not surprising, when her vaguest memory of 'smog' involved corpulent clouds of her Sis' peach perfume), the ground bellow her feet the consistency of powdered granite and the color of rust. Oh, and let's not forget the clusters of clockwork gears that seemed to hang impossibly suspended in midair, forever turning and ticking and bringing time forward.
Yes, her planet was an odd one indeed. Just like her.

The land of Glades and Evanescence,
As pertaining to the Knave of Dust.
Truely he did not know what to expect when he had first heard of the Medium. Given more time he would have pondered it in detail but he had responsibilities to his matespirit in peril that warrented greater need. Hence his thoughts were left at a basic representation of the Medium, a foreign world necessary to beating the game, as he focused on manipulating her home towards the same goal. Simple as that.
However now that he was here, his fleeting thoughts of a strange planet suddenly left him as the land of Glades and Evanescence unfurled all around him. It was not strange. It was not foreign. It was perfect.
The bedarkened sky highlighted trees of every size and shape that swathed the land in a field of blue and green, ever moving under an unseen and unfelt force. As they swayed to and fro they seemed to fade out of the background like a forest of mirages casting myriads of umber shadows and jade hues on canopy vegetation. All around, the forest was cloaked in an azure mist that sparkled like fresh dew on nightime flowers, causing the colors of the leaves and the bark to mingle into a hazy mosaic highlighted by an unknown glow from the forest floor.
Further in the distance, highlighted by the contrasting trees, there appeared to be a large temple composed of reddish stone that sat atop a grove of branches. Its facade clearly weathered and unmaintained indicated some kind of ruin from long ago.
The rush of awe was fleeting, however. This was just a game after all and there was still much to be done. Moving to his computer, he noticed that his Trollian was active with a message from Reinah...

It took me way too long and with way too much effort to finish this, especially more so considering I did all the lines and block colors on MS Paint, whit no layers.
