the cherries were from the same box but some were still bright as red while some started to rot. that was what inspired me to do this picture.edit: thank you everyone for your kind comments and faves! i really appreciate it! ^_^x

I can see a lot of thought behind this. I love how it looks like you used a film camera, a lot of the photographs that I like have this style, and more and more I find myself attempting to achieve it myself.
This shot shows that the passage of time slowly destroys everything, but that it can still be beautiful. In the sea of photographs, this one could potentially stand out because of that. You did a wonderful job of catch the colours on each cherry, something I find many people have a hard time with on this colour style. The only thing I could have wished for would be a bit more definition between the colouring on a few.

Thank you very much for your critique! To differentiate the colors more I increased the contrast. The last few cherries didn't have much definition on its colors since those are the most over riped cherries that i could find. I wouldn't want to change the colors because that would mean too much manipulation of the picture. But what's important is to get the message across. Once again, thank you. ^_^x
