Well, here she is. I didn't think a doll could give me as much hell as Anna did, but making Belle ended up a challenge of it's own. But in the end, I'm extremely proud of her. Unfortunately, the photos don't do her justice in my opinion. I've learned I'm not a very good photographer.

Anyway, on the left you'll see pictures of the dress in the movie as well as the original doll. She's customized from a JCPenny's Belle, which has the same face mold as the Disney Store doll, but she's not as articulated. I started by giving her face more flesh tones, and re-did her eyebrows since they made her look a bit evil in my opinion. Then I sanded down her original heels from a point to a more gentle curve. After that I sewed her a completely new dress from two shades of gold crepe. The majority of the dress is a more yellow color, but her bodice and the ruffled draped from the roses are a toned down shade. After the dress was done I added Swarovski crystals to each rose, on her bodice, and added two to her shoes, as well as replacing the original plastic earrings with crystals. Finally, I re-styled her hair so it resembles her movie look.

Sadly the heels mean Belle can not stand unsupported like Anna. I had her propped up with a tube of paint under her dress for the photos, but she's still great. I'm asking $150 for her, same as Anna. If anyone's interested in buying her, feel free to send me a note and we can discuss the price if you feel it's too high.
