sry for the title
couldnt think of anything to putFor my new school's mascot (although i think he usually has a crown on his head
)I was trying to put a crown on his head but it didn't fit on there 
About: Tis a lion
got the ref form a site that has a bazillion animal pics that i use 
Time: 3 days during school so maybe 4-5 hrs maybe ill time myself for the next one to find out ^^
Though: eh... its not bad but it does have some mess ups
I'm thinking about putting a black background what do u think?next: depends.... Someone whats me to draw a clysdale (sp?) and soon because shes been asking every day for the past 2 weeks
but then someone else is giving me a cat pic tomarrow to do... so it'll be a suprise

Wow Katie! This is a beautiful drawing. Maybe you should do one of "The Lion of Judah." You were the first person to comment on any of my stuff about four years ago and I was impressed with your work then. You've taken your skills way higher since then while I've pretty much stopped with the drawing and gone back to my first love, photography. I LOVE your animal drawings and I think you would make an excellent tattoo artist, should you ever be so inclined to go that direction. Random thoughts here I know, but let me finish where I started: Wow!

A bit of advice though...all of the lines of the fur look the same. Add different texture to different parts where the fur is longer and shorter. If you notice on big cats, the top of their muzzle has the shortest fur and can be depicted by stippling (dotting). Another thing, the whiskers. You can use an eraser to make quick marks for them. His mane looks fine, but you need to work on the ears a little bit.

hair flow in the main is great! for highlighting, though, try erasing away instead of not drawing it in. it can sort of look empty. you get what i mean? a suggestion, i know you want them ^^ looks great though! as i keep sayingi, i see the improvement!
