Thank you. I'm not sure as I didn't use any reference... However...I've been doing this type of decorative work for a very long time. I think its two main "sources of origin" of it are my interest in prewar architecture and old-school game art. It seems like these interests have resulted in somewhat unusual aesthetics. To be completely honest, I am not particularly fond of this piece. It's colored very well but the linework is not so great. The fact that, unlike many of my other drawings, it's a4, doesn't help

Inspiration from prewar architecture, I can understand that. Designs all the way from the roman times to prewar can be so decorative and artistically complex their beauty is memorizing. I wonder how on earth they could create such art works. And I don't thank any artist is every truly happy with any piece they draw, I think it's called the 'tortured artist syndrome'

I'm only being half-serious now but this piece is one of those works that hurt my self-centered mind of an artist the most 
And yes, the architectural detail is fascinating and looking at it definitely has an influence on my art and the way I view it.

Only you can see 'poor linework' what I see and others viewing it is different, that's why it gets a lot of attention. Keep the creations coming!

Yeah, it's pretty much a part of reality for every creator, so I'm not too salty about it
