The end result is pretty nice,but It's not exactly my type of thing...I prefer smooth surfaces that allow you to add a lot of detail..That being said, this surface "grabs" pigments in a way most papers can't, so I will probably use it in the future,probably mostly for landscapes.

It may have something to do with the paper. I used pastelmat, which can really make the colors pop as it can "grab" more pigment....This comes at the cost of being able to paint fine detail easily,though...

It may turn out worthwhile...It's not a cheap paper,but you get your money's worth imo.

Thank you! I used a different surface, and it allows for some really intense color layering...at the cost of detail control.
