I've been playing the Megaman X Legacy Collection on PS4 and it made me really want to make a Poster of the original Megaman X game! I had a blast making this! and it came together really quickly! It only took about 2/3 weeks! that is fast, considering my last poster of Final Fantasy 7 took about 2 months. I first drew Megaman and Zero for this piece and then I kind of wanted a background element that could tie all of the stuff in the poster together, so I got the idea for the large "X" in the background and the rest of it all came together pretty easily from there! a lot of the art is admittedly inspired by Stock art and Manual of Megaman X, but with several slight little changes and personal touches. I think my favorite part of this poster was drawing all of the bosses at the bottom! I was trying to think of some cool way to incorporate them into the poster, and I got the idea to put them in Panels at the bottom, and have them Diagonal to keep with the cool motion that the X in the poster had going, and it is also a little reminiscent of the Health bar in the games too!
