Yay! I finally got to make an artist teddy bear XD I'm so happy I was commissioned to do one! Pattern came out nicely, and I can't WAIT to make more of these fellas.This one has the theme of a sunflower with some nice earthy browns and greens in the body color and the frill of petals around the neck
He's about 12 inches tall and can stand on his own very easily.I named him Sunshine, but the commissioner can rename him whatever she wants XD

This little guy isn't currently for sale, he was done on commission, but I have a bunch in my workshop in the middle of progress! I will be selling many teddy bears in the near future, planning on having my Etsy filled with a few by summer time.

awww thank you!! And well, at this time I don't share my patterns that i intend to keep on using XD; I'm thinking about making a pattern book though for the general public's use..maybe i'll include a teddy pattern in there similar to this one

Hey no worries, I totally understand, and a book full of patterns sounds great!! ^_^ .. I was searching for a bear pattern to base a model on, but couldn't find anything that would work so I've started off into the realm of making my own patterns!!

yup! there's little "microbeads" in the feet to give him some weight. works wonders for balance!

basically just a teddy bear made by an artist lol rather than the teddy bears that are massed produced for say, toys r' us. just one of a kind teddy bears that seem to have a category of their own in the art field apart from all other hand made plushes *shrugs*

oh, now that would be something i would buy my sisters sons, im very old fasiond, no carz no buzz i like this stuff though since they wouldnt play with it im safe to say it wouldnt get ruined man if you posted this alittle like a few months ago i would have ordered 2 for them as collectable custom gifts for christmas!
