She was being nosy but she was not willing to put down her piece of food and unfortunately two rattys do not fit in the door very well

She is of good size for a female. I thought she was a male until I read what you wrote. Please be careful though. Rats have very weak hearts and too much weight can cause you to lose her. If you think she is overweight you might try cutting back on her food, or the type of food you allow her to have. The less overweight a rat is the less stress it will have on it's heart and the longer it will live. She is so adorable. I love her markings.

The one with the food has a blob of dark grey on her face that makes her look like she has a little mask on. And we use a type of bedding that is made out of paper materials so they are less dusty and it is better for the rats.
