Description It must be a camel.

This is the first time I've ever drawn a camel. EVER. Please don't laugh too hard.

EDIT: Since ~zombieneighbours was kind enough to ask, the camel's name is Prince Sefu. With any luck a character named Sefu just might be appearing in a Pathfinder Society module coming out sometime this year. Watch for it!

Inked, edited, and colored by me. Possible shading to come.

What is the Camels name?

Prince Sefu, though after I found out people can drink camel's milk, I'm tempted to make the "Prince" a female so's I don't have to carry as much water. I made up a story about an ancient Qadiran prince named Sefu who kept ignoring the warnings of dervish insurrectionists coming to slay him for his decadent dictatorly ways. He believed no one could slay him, what with his one thousand guards and one hundred traps. His head was on a spear outside the palace by the time Sarenrae's golden rays crossed the horizon.

My DMPC's a History buff, so I thought it'd be fun to have a backstory for her camel's name.

*Runs of to Bed maniacly laughing as Sefu is the name of an NPC from Skeleton Moon and his evil scheme seems suddenly all the more fun and must be dreamed on.*

jaja i can imagine this is the cammel from Prince of Percia... or was it a donkey...? difficult to remember... but the smile is cool... is the smile of an evil mastermind

I like all the trinkets it brings along

It does look like an evil mastermind grin. Kinda makes sense, I guess.

Montalve In reply to WhoDrewThis [2009-02-12 00:20:07 +0000 UTC]

it all depends in whatis he thinking about, Ibelieve I know who is the mastermind inthe whole scheme... he does belong Alphonse right?(of course Alphonse thinks he owns the cammel)

WhoDrewThis In reply to Montalve [2009-02-12 00:28:53 +0000 UTC]

It's actually my character Xahira's camel, but she's as wise as Alphonse is, so...

She's a lot smarter though. She at least could attack people on her first foray into adventuring.

The body is pretty right, my only comment is about the face which should be longer and have really big girly lashes.

WhoDrewThis In reply to Urikson [2009-02-11 21:10:11 +0000 UTC]

LASHES! Arg! Knew I was missing something on the eyes. The face should be longer, as you mentioned- my excuse is that I ran out of room on the sheet I was working on.

I shall call this breed the "stub-nosed short-lashed Southern Katapeshi camel". Only one still in existence in all of Golarion, and I've got it!

Y'know, that's the weird thing about camels. They've got this reputation as surly and bad-mannered animals, but every picture I found, they all looked like they were grinning. Mine'd a bit more extra-grinny compared to other camels, though.

Thanks! I wanted to make it look like someone practically lives off this thing. At the very least, Xa carries all her boring, "don't need this every moment I'm in the dungeon" supplies on the camel: bedroll, rations, that sort of thing. I think she's got her magical gear and a flint & steel in her belt pouch and that's it, actually.

Only to find they got stolen when you get out the dungeon!

Cheers for the happy camel. Cool mini dude!

WhoDrewThis In reply to butterfrog [2009-02-11 21:16:31 +0000 UTC]

Well, Xa's got a Wisdom of 8, so that sort of "whoopsie" moment may happen. At least until she gets a Handy Haversack and can carry everything she needs with her. Even then, she'd probably leave it on the camel.

It's her wacky, poorly thought-out decisions that keep the paladin from killing her for wanting to hand all of Golarion over to Hastur on a silver platter, though, so if she's gotta buy a new bedroll every time she leaves the dungeon, so be it.

Thanks! Urikson's pointed out all my anatomical errors- mostly face-related. I spent so much time trying to get the body and legs appropriate that I kinda forgot all that face stuff. Ah well.

Heh. You crazy non-Americans.

I guess I'd probably have, like, a water buffalo or something, but we pretty much killed the crap out of them many years ago. So I'll take one of those tiny little Shriners cars.

That is a very cool camal. Is it Xa's mount or just a random camal?

WhoDrewThis In reply to zombieneighbours [2009-02-11 18:08:51 +0000 UTC]

I made it for Xa to use, but it could function as anyone's camel. I'm gonna make a "sitting Xa" to ride on it; once I've got black ink again, I'll print it out and take some pictures.

weird question i know. But in your home games do you play 4E, Pathfinder or 3.5

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WhoDrewThis In reply to zombieneighbours [2009-02-12 01:33:55 +0000 UTC]

I run 4E games, though Ben was running a Pathfinder RotRL game that we got all of two sessions into before it kinda imploded. Not due to the system, mind, just we really did it for one of our friends so he could actually play SOMETHING, and his schedule kept changing so we couldn't get a game in.

I'd be happy to do Pathfinder games sometime, but I'm one of those freaks who sees 4E and says, "everything that's missing I can change/edit/wait for". Combine that with a system easy enough for me to DM drunk (I have done this, so I know), and hey, you got yourself a stew goin'.

Why you ask, sir?
