Well so far this is my favourite from the Rachel series. There is a purity and a softness demonstrated here with the vast expanses of white and the petals giving a grounding at the bottom of the frame. The skin tones are beautifully lit and I adore her expression. The DOF is great too. In this shot, she looks so much like my friend Becci, who I love and adore.

Love the lighting and the petal type things. Those were a very good touch of colour.

I think this is the first time I've really focused on the eyes in the Rachel series...a lot of previous photographs dealt with pose and body language...this one is just simply the eyes. Beautiful tribute.

I just love the way this photograph is focused on her face, while it blurs out on the sides............
very nicely captured!
crisp sharp while being soft at the same time.
well done!

Woah!

Beautiful photograph. I love she crisp focus on her face and it's delicate features.

The smoothness of her skin is contrasted nicely with the flowers and hair at the bottom of the frame.

Wonderful expression!

My only complaint would be that there is too much negative space at the top of the photo. It really detracts from your pretty subject. Also, there's a little too much flare on the top of her face.

Beautiful. More like this.

Let's see... I use an NEC SuperBright Diamondtron Multisync FE771SB

I don't even know what that all means...!

that's impressive....don't know what that means either. is it a LCD type flatscreen or CRT standard monitor? i'm asking because LCD's are overly bright so detail tends to disappear in these kinds of photographs. just a random kinda question....ya know....
