Description I got to have a little fun with the gang in this issue. I gave the yellowed, misregistered, halftone color look, corny! I only wish I would have limited myself to the pallete available back then.

All kidding aside, that's visually more appealing (to me) than the over-coloured stuff that's common these days...

Some of us may snicker at, and mock the old ways. Others of us have proper respect, as demonstrated here. But any way you look at it, they really made marvels from matchsticks back in the day. Across the board, from comics to film, pre-digital creativity was amazing, even with the error-plagued processes so "primitive" by today's standards. No point-and-click conveniences then. That was real work. I still hold the old ways in reverence, while I gawk in astonishment at the new methods.

How far we've come. Alas, lest we forget.

Wonderful job here, Rico. Thanks so much for the reflection.

Thanks sir! I think it's amazing looking back at stuff that had these limitations, it doesn't look like I remember it. I guess my young mind filled in the blanks. That Art Adams Spidey issue comes to mind, it didn't look at all like what I imagined it did when I reread it recently!

yup! i pretty much wish me all the time, i could assist the the old ladies coloring the pages on the films and cutting out tones and stuff --- man, how great would be that!
i found somewhere the preproduced colorsheets with all the advices somewhere on the net, but it needs some time to find it again... but till then, i say, good job!

I got to do the color codes on transparencies but I'm not old enough for the hand cutting of separations! Thanks!
