Description
These are some pictures of Zabimaru that I made out of redwood (a softwood). It's a very sturdy piece with a good weight to it. It's painted with acrylic paint.It took around 20 hours or so, and made within 4 days. It wasn't really that hard to make, just a little tedious at times. I based it upon screen-shots, fan art work and the picture art from the 2nd Bleach DS game (Japanese import).

i thought redwood was a hardwood? or have i gotten my redwood's confused? i'm thinking californian redwood aka sequoia tree/pine thing...

Unfortunately it doesn't. I thought about it, but it would have been too hard and even if I could have managed it, it would have been too heavy to swing a round. Only a body builder could manage ^^
