That sucks.  I recently bought a Kiev equivalent (lol) and the shutter is fucked so I'm returning it.  I could really fall in love with a camera like that.  Super bummed.

At least my C3 works (mostly) although the spooling is off so I only seem to get about 9 images per roll, even though it insists I've taken 12

I'm a firm advocate of the keep it simple if you possibly can school of how to do things. Mainly due to innate laziness I guess

Agreed. Although sometimes I do like to use more than one. Just to show that I can. Anything more than three however and I start to get a nosebleed.
