great contrasts! this is a fantastic black and white! the angle and pose are very playful.

A very nice capture indeed! I like the simplicity of it yet the suggestion of a girl identifying with either the prep or indie scene. The shot is both playful yet shy in its angle of shot and it makes the view want to see the wearer of those shoes. Nice work.
My one suggestion to you would be to smooth out that white splotch over her left knee. A little burning could do some wonders for that.

well, see, the theme here, remember, is "subtle emotion" which is different from "emotion" because it is less obvious/less evident/sometimes not even there at all. so to define an emotion would be to completely go against the point of my project.
