its completely digital. i colored it in Gimp. i used a grid technique and just matched up the colors with the original pic, and i colored it grid by grid.

i made a grid and put it over the original pic, and then i put a grid on the one i was drawing and then i just drew exactly what was in each box.

here in the US, you only have to take 2 years of another language. i took 4 years of French, but the class was too easy, so i didn't learn much.

well, Americans tend to be a little ethnocentric.
a lot of people think "hey, the rest of the world knows English, so why should i learn another language?"
personally, i wish that languages were pushed more. i would have liked to have started learning a language when i was younger and it was easier.

yep. but that's starting to change. when my parents were in school, they didn't have to learn ANY languages, and now, its at least required to learn one. hopefully, soon, schools will put a lot more emphasis on languages.
i know that when i have kids, they're going to learn French when they're really young.
