one of my favourites since year 2000, now that i still play Pokemon Blue after having all 151 pokemons i keep a level 34 Abra with TM moves without evolving it

I was trying to hatch a shiny Charmander when I spotted it on a bike ride.
That was actually my 6th shiny. I have 7 total from 3 games, excluding the red Gyarados from Soul Silver...and I also got PokΓ©rus at one point.

The first time I came across one, I was playing Fire Red, trying to travel through Rock Tunnel. Shiny Lv 8 Geodude, female. I only had a few PokΓ©balls left, but I managed to capture it with the second to last one.
Second one was hatched. Shiny male Eevee.
Both the third and fourth were found in the same location in Ruby, Route 113. Shiny male Spinda and female Skarmory, both Lv 16.
Fifth was in Sky Tower. Shiny Lv 48 Golbat, female. Also where I obtained the PokΓ©rus.
Sixth was the shiny female Pidgey back in Fire Red (Lv. 27), Route 15.
Then the red Gyarados in Soul Silver.
And then I got a shiny male Hoothoot, though I don't recall where exactly I caught it...I need to find that game at some point. It's probably hiding in some of my junk.

Wow good memory haha, but nice. I love the pokemon games (mostly because you can still catch gen 1's in every one) I can't wait for X and Y for this new 3D style with my original favorites

I recorded most of the information down with each capture...
Ehh...I'm not so sure.
I mean, I'm usually alright with change, but Gen VI hasn't given me much of anything to be excited about. The starters don't seem all that original (we already have fire foxes and water frogs), Sylveon is questionable (because of its femininity in a mostly male-oriented evolution line and the fact that the type isn't revealed yet), and they added yet another unnecessary alternate form for a legendary (what is that, #11 now?).
The only things I do like so far are the two mascots, Xerneas especially. Reminds me of the deer god from Princess Mononoke.

Yeah, I'm getting X regardless though. I have no hopes for the new generation of Pokemon considering last gen consisted of lanterns and shit. Although I do think Xerneas looks pretty cool, love the majestic deer look. The new eevee evolution looks pitiful and the newmew guy, he looks pretty cool, I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other.
