I can't sleep so I drew this scribbly, colourful piece in the hopes that I'll feel better. I didn't really put any effort into anything except making them cute so please no hate lol

Yeah anime itself takes pretty big cues from young children when it comes to depicting cuteness/youth, most specifically the large heads, large eyes, small noses, small but highly expressive mouths, etc. Some artists even go further and apply it to the hands and feet, making them look small and chubby... not really my cup of tea mind, takes it a bit too far lol.
