So much hype over Boku no Hero Academia season 2!! AWW YEAAHHHH 25 EPISODES!! I wonder if United States of Smash will make it within those 25 episodes...
Of course, I had to start on a fanart for one of my favourite anime/mangas. Unfortunately for me, it's time to study for exams so this piece may take awhile. Hence, uploading this sketch to show the concept based on the hype intro for season 2 episode 1. We'll see how well I can execute that background RIP lol
EDIT1: I will need to fix a bunch of things in this sketch before colouring like Midoriya's (farther away) right leg which is kinda broken
EDIT2: I fixed the broken body parts woohoo!! And also lined everything and changed the main file for this upload so if you were looking for the gross initial sketch, just leave a comment

Hey before you colour it i'd like to point out some errors I see:
-The face and nose is a bit off, maybe the nose needs to be moved to the right a bit, dunno.
- (his) right hand's fingers are wierd sizes. While the fingers are different lengths, their thicknesses are more or less uniform. The left hand is fine.
- the scaling and shape of the metal bits above his knees are problematic and unconvincing (like they seem to be different sizes).
- and (his) right foot isn't at a convincing angle to seem planted on the ground. Too curved.
Otherwise, impressive composition and solid motion lines., I've been meaning to add this kind of energy to my own drawings. Only slightly jelly
And yeah, good luck with the background lmao. You'll be needing it

-Not sure about his nose, I think I'll flip the picture around to see how to fix it - you're probably right that I just need to move it a bit to the right.
-Lol I had to think about which right hand and foot you meant 
-Yeaahhhh his leg gear...that one will be tricky to fix. Do you think (his) right leg is too short/small for the perspective it's at? Or maybe it needs to be straighter?
Welp, at least it's evident I'm tackling (and struggling at) backgrounds. And also looking like a right lunatic posing in front of the mirror for the action pose lmao
