When you first meet Idunn she will be shy, reserved, but it won’t be long, if you're someone she can trust, will she become a ball of intelligent, fun loving creature, no she won’t be to hyper, but she will run have fun, kick up her heels with you, and if you needed her for something, you're damn right she is going to be there for you as a faithful, loyal friend, The thing about her though, is she does not hate anyone, not really, okay, let's correct this, she can, it’s just really hard to be hated by her! But when she does hate you, she is cold, calculating, she won’t trust you she will look for weakness inside one. This little mare though, hard to be scared. But in all, she is the kind of equine who would sacrifice herself to save a friend. To save some lands. She is the natural hero, but she also would aim to get to the root cause of things. Never the kind to back away.
Backstory: to start Idunn's life was a good one, her father a powerful leader, and her mother, a loving mare, with a twin brother. they didn't look the same but born at the same time, and while their mother taught them the love they would need, the father teaching them to be fearless. Not to bulk at bears, or wolves, or even the smelly humans that were ugly and needed to go away. Her parents taught her to love, to be strong, but most of all, to be smart, to be fast.
All while, she had a strange fixation with small creatures she could find herself sleeping and wake up with a bunny curled up with her, or a bird in her mane, Her mother also taught her what herbs would heal and what herbs could kill, so she knew this long before she left home.
She left, parting with her family in search of something more, something for herself. And this, this is when the tragedy starts. You see, a pretty little mare should travel with others, even just as a yearling mare, instead she was attacked by a band of yearlings. She would try to outrun them, but some of them were made for the run, and she ended up pretty beat up, She was forced into wandering with them for a long time as a 'pet' it was not until a few more mares joined her in the ranks of the yearlings that they decided to develop a plan to get away.
It happened under the cover of darkness, the mares all seemed to slip back, her job was the distraction. And so, she feigned, well faked it, the yearling colts all moved around her poking at her. The mares began to sneak away. When one of the yearlings caught on (no one said they had brains) She was punished, but once again, she was the only mare left with the group. and took another stallion Magni, coming and beating them before she was free, but she traveled with him. more for protection against yearlings. The stallion though, later succumbed to death, a vicious attack from humans.
