That vendor should keep a better eye on his fruit.I'm trying to work on coloring darker... hence, the girl's skin tone. Also, I realized I tend to avoid drawing backgrounds because they take an age. So, from sheer contrariness, I decided to turn my thief into a full-blown illustration. I probably won't do it again, for a while at least, cause I seriously spent two hours on the brick wall alone 8\
Anyway, I'm mildly happy with it, which is rare for me

Nice character...she reminds me of Pocahontas...because of the hair and the clothes. (one shoulder beige top? Slit skirt? Long black hair? That's a modern Poca right there...)

Ah, a darker skintone is no big deal. Just say the character is 'vaugely ethnic.'
...Props on the coloring. And the background. They do take a while. Especially when you will it with little details like you've done here. So yeah, very impressive work.
